James Thompson, aged 28, and James Meyrick, aged 24, found guilty on an indictment for the highway robbery of Thomas Augustuis Jessop in the parish of Wanstead on 16th July 1798: robbing him of a pocket book (valued at 1/-), a gold half guinea, one silver shilling and 4 silver sixpences.
